Mekong A “Treasure Trove” Of Over 1,000 Newly Discovered Species

From the Laotian Rock Rat - believed to have been extinct for more than 11,000,000 years - to a hot pink cyanide-producing “Dragon Milipede,” well over 1,000 species of exotic creatures have been discovered in the Mekong Delta over the last 10 years.
